Thermal work, explained honestly

Find the pattern.
Verify the cause.

Thermal cameras measure surface-temperature patterns. Those patterns can help locate areas associated with retained roof moisture, heat loss, unusual electrical heating and solar-panel anomalies—but the image alone does not prove the cause.

Reports distinguish between a thermal indication and a verified condition. Roof-core sampling is optional, selective and performed only with authorization when it adds value.

The exact deliverable is agreed upon before the flight. Depending on the project, it may include labeled visual images, radiometric thermal images, location context, annotated observations, video, a visual 3D model, and recommended next steps.

Inspection support

Reports document visible conditions and thermal patterns within the agreed scope. They do not replace engineering, electrical, code, environmental or other licensed professional evaluations.

No property boundaries

Maps and 3D models are visual documentation products. Precision Aerial Inspection does not establish property lines, prepare boundary surveys or offer professional land-surveying services.

Thermal limitations

Temperature patterns are affected by weather, surface materials, occupancy and timing. A thermal indication is not proof of moisture, damage or a specific cause without appropriate verification.

Flight conditions

Every project remains subject to FAA rules, airspace authorization, weather, site access, privacy and safe operating conditions. A flight may be rescheduled when those conditions are not met.

Service area

Based in Calais. Available across Maine.

Projects are considered statewide. Scheduling and travel are quoted in advance based on location, scope, weather and airspace. No surprise travel charge is added after the scope is accepted.
